Shalom,

With a powerful slate of feature films, documentaries, TV dramas, short films, seminars and discussions planned for this year's Festival, it is exciting to see the progress of the Israeli film industry as we launch our 1 2th Israel Film Festival in the U.S.A.

After more than a decade of bringing Israel to Los Angeles and New York in the form of film screenings and seminars, this year we are proud to also be bringing American filmmaking ideas to Israel. For four days in February we will be holding the American Film and TV Symposium in Tel Aviv. Top American entertainment industry professionals will join us abroad to conduct workshops and panels as they share their stories and techniques for success.

None of this would be possible without the encouragement and support in Israel and in America from all who so generously contribute their time and talents to the Festival year after year. I would specifically like to thank our Honorary Committee Members and Chairs, especially our Honorary Chairman, Arnon Milchan.
